It's hard to describe this style of mug - it's my new love. 

The clay body has this stunning speckle effect and even though looks textured it's perfectly smooth and very tactile. The clear glaze brings out the blended colours perfectly. 

I picked this style as I like to hold my mugs, not just by the handle. This design gives a homely feel and lets you wrap your hands around it. The handle is sleek and slender, starting more substantial at the top to take the weight and then gently narrows to the bottom, so much so you hardly feel the need to use the base of the handle at all.

In side the mug is curved making cleaning easy and wide for a biscuit to dunk (I love shortbread) 

I throw each mug on my wheel and then hand make each handle. I let them dry for at least a week before they are fired and glazed in a clear finish. 

As each on is handmade they will always be slightly different from the pictures below. Each stands approx 4" high and holds 10-12 floz.

I hold a small number in stock otherwise make each item to order, please be aware you may have a 6-8 week wait. If you are looking for some immediately, please email me and I can let you know what I currently have in stock.

FAQs

All the cups, mugs and shot cups are made from Stonewear clay. People report they have put them in the dishwasher and they have been fine.

Please contact us straight away if your delivery is damaged with photos of the condition it arrived in. Once we have these we can discuss the options available.

If your order is for a specific date please contact me ahead of ordering and we can arrange a timed and trackable delivery. This will be at an additional cost.
