This is my latest rage which focusses on 'Survival'

The work is inspired by those toxic people we all have experienced in our lives.

It may be a boss, colleague, friend, partner or family member. This range represents the 'shots' they take often by negative comments designed to make you question yourself. Those remarks which you are made to feel are nothing but leave an impact. 

This range is for those who survive these toxic people and even though it is painful to be at the venomous end of these horrible people, my work is to remind you that when you survive these people, even though you are changed forever, by surviving this process you show your beauty, uniqueness and delicate nature.

To create the effect my items are subjected to violence. I have shot them with a .22 rifle while they are still damp. They are then baked to 1000 degrees to further seal the damage done to them. Finally when they feel that have survived they are baked again, sometimes directly in the fire, sometimes with a long slow burn.

They are forever changed, forever different from what they could have been at the very start of their journey but still they are delicate, wounded but surviving.
