Marbled Stonewear Necklaces
Much like the ever-changing views from my studio in the Shropshire Hills, no two necklaces in this collection are ever the same.
By using separate black and while clays, I create multiple layers in an organic and fluid way to replicate the organic patterns of Shropshire's 'dark skies' and rolling hills.
The unpredictability of the marbling process ensures a piece of jewellery that is as individual as the person who wears it. The clay has the marbled pattern all through and varies on each side and visible on the sides of each necklace. This is a more thorough technique to marbling, rather than just adding a different colour clay to the surface of the item.
Each item tells it's own story from stormy skies, hills in the distance to a storms at sea, a story just for you.
