Ceramic Stress Stones

I made these little ceramic stress stones to be a quiet, grounding tool you can carry with you wherever you go. They are small and completely discreet—perfect for slipping into a coat pocket, a handbag, or keeping tucked into the palm of your hand during a stressful meeting. Whenever things start to feel like a bit too much, they are there to help bring you back to the here and now.

Designed for touch Each stone is shaped entirely by hand in my South Shropshire studio using natural stoneware clay. I leave the outside completely unglazed, giving it a beautifully raw, earthy texture that feels wonderful against your skin. On the inside, I’ve made a smooth, thumb-shaped indent and finished it with a soft, glossy glaze. The contrast between the matte, textured outer clay and the silky-smooth glazed center gives your thumb a soothing place to rest and rub, acting as a tactile anchor to help focus your mind and calm anxiety.
